Daveed Diggs is a rapper, actor, and writer. He is a Tony Award nominee for his work in the Broadway musical Hamilton. He has also received a Grammy Award for his work on the album "More Life" by JAY-Z. In addition to acting, Diggs has been a longtime member of the hip hop group The Digits, along with rappers Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge
He has also worked with rappers Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip. In 2016, he played two characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: FBI Agent Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy and Thomas Edison in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, for which he won a Critics' Choice Award.
